Dear Roofing/Siding Contractor,

We are proud to announce our 19th annual College Scholarship Award program, which is offered exclusively to the children of people locally employed in the roofing/siding industry. This program is fully funded by Cross Country Distributing and the applicants are judged on the criteria listed below:

1. Grade Point Average


2. Financial Need


3. Attitude


4. Work Ethic


5. Community Service

Selections will be made by our (7) Scholarship Board of Directors, comprised of individuals involved and committed to the roofing/siding industry.

Purchases from Cross Country Distributing WILL NOT be a factor in the selection process.

The 2015/2016 Scholarship Board of Directors are as follows:

Kevin Morley (Morely Roofing), Eric Bowling (Jos S. Bowling), Mike Kennedy (HKC Roofing), Keith Harpring (Chas. Harpring Roofing), Nancy Kennedy (All Weather Roofing), Nathan Sasse (Commonwealth Roofing), Harold Robinson (Reliable Res.)

We will award (8) $1,000 scholarships for the 2015/2016. Previous applicants and recipients are eligible to re-apply, which allows them to potentially receive $4,000 in scholarship money over their 4 year college enrollment. Any high school senior, college student, or graduate student is eligible to apply. We will invite and introduce our 2015 recipients at our 26th Annual Crusade for Children Golf Outing banquet dinner in May at Lake Forest CC.

Cross Country Distributing has previously awarded 128 $1,000 ($128,000) in scholarships through 2014. Our thanks to all who have applied in the past, which has allowed us the satisfaction of "giving back" to our industry.
